BVA members collaborate on emergent themes and issues advancing the BVA’s goals and mission through special projects.
Ideas for special projects emerge in Steering Committee meetings, through the work of the RACs, during Hub/RAC leader meetings, and in more informal exchange among BVA members. They may serve as incubators for new RACs, as extensions of existing RACs, and as vehicles to build community, share ideas, and sometimes seek needed resources. The role of the Hub is to help organize participation and to stay apprised of progress. Leadership, however, comes from campus-based members.
Special Projects include:
- Working Group on the Assessment of Student Learning
- Resources for Assessing Student Learning Online
- Peer Review of Teaching
- Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
